The Death of a Lion.

Rev Peter Toon a lion of a scholar and great defender of the historicity of our Christian faith fell asleep last night (he battled a rare disease) and now resides sitting and worshiping Christ our Great Savior. Toon has been so incredibly influential on my thinking and has been a source of literary comfort for me in those dark nights when the wind is blowing hard and the chill of depression is knocking at my doorstep. He was a gracious man who answered my questions always with the utmost class. I will miss you tremendously brother.

Let us be consoled that he now sits among his equals, men like Paul, Augustine, Aquinas, Luther, Calvin, Barth, and the rest.
